Help Flytouch 3 charging problem

Hi I have bought the Superpad2 flytouch3 two months ago. When i got it i cannnot charge it as the power adapter was loose. I have contacted the supplier and yesterday they have send me another one. This one is ok and it's charging but once the charging reach 88% it just stop charging. But the battery icon show charging. Have anyone encounter that problem. What could be the cause any ideas.

I just ignored the problem, and left it charge over the night. When I turn it on in the morning it says, "full-charge". I think it's just a problem of "on-charging" because if you charge it while it's off it works.

However if you want to make a try, charge it over a night, keep it connected, turn it on, download and start battery calibration program, remove the cable (follow the instructions) and I hope you'll get your result.

When i checked the charge rate on mine while I had it open, the actual rate was very low when the tablet was switched on..in the order of 20mA or so, it really only charged at a reasonable rate when the tablet was switched off, then the charging current was around 1 Amp. Others have disputed this and said their FT3's charged when they were switched on, but I know what I measured!! Also, the charge light does go out on mine when it is fully charged..something others have said their FT3's don't do.

My advice would be switch the tablet OFF, put it on charge overnight, then use it off charge until it shuts down because the battery is flat, then charge it again overnight, switched OFF, that way you are sure the battery is as charged as it is going to get!

The wifi is disabled by default when the tab goes into standby, it is possible to change this so the wifi stays on so downloading is not interrupted...but it will affect battery duration!

hI, i have gone through both (dart16 and giubari) advice but the problem is still the same. The tablet charges till 88% and then stop charging even though it says Charging....?

Do you think it the battery itself which is faulty?

Even after an overnight charge with the tablet turned off?... if so then either the charger or the tablet would appear to be faulty....meter the charger, check its output, preferably into a load to decide which is causing the problem or just send it all back as faulty.
