The command to "Unmount SD1" does not appear in the memory equipment panel as shown on page 22 on the manual. Is the firmware corrupt and how can it be corrected if the Sd card can not be removed.

A Manual!!... you got a manual???? geeeeezzzz...luxury ;-)

What firmware do you have?

Try menu/settings/sd card & device storage/sd1/unmount. (or is that where page 22 points you?) It works for me!

Many people don't unmount the card before removal...you usually get away with it!

Never a good idea, it only takes one time and you can be assured that one time will occur under the worst possible circumstances!

Yes...agreed Tbod... but not withstanding that.....many people do it...and get away with it!!
