Help flytouch help please

hi

i have flytouch but i don't what the version of the flytouch

these are the detail of the device

android 2.2 2011-03-25

kernel version
2.6.32.9

build number
frf85b


i need to upgrade this tablet to make faster .. i heard froyo is much much better .. plus i have problem with charger it's always stick on 57 % no matter how much time spend on the charger

the tablet come with box .. superbad III

You already have froyo on your tab. Android 2.2
You missed out the important information..what model number does it report being?
Did you mean superbad III or superpad III, and did you mean superpad III or Flytouch III/superpad II

Does it have one or two external tf slots?
 
Android 2.2 is Froyo.

Charge your device with the power off. Do it overnight if you must. The light should extinguish when it is complete. If it doesn't, you may have a hardware problem. I can charge mine with it powered off with a cell phone charger with half the amperage. It cannot not hold it up while powered on. The screen oscillates from dim to bright with the small charger. Very annoying.

I had to re-calibrate my battery right after I got mine. Do a google search "Calibrate android battery" and you should get some good how to links. You will need to root your tablet first..
 
sorry it's superpad III

after one night on charger and reach the 100 % .. i will do calibrating for the battery ..i succeed to root the device

am trying to change the keyboard inputs but always it's English .. is there any way to change it ...

and how i know if i can upgrade the device to another version ..

and it's have one TF slot

one more thing please .. i download android info system

it's has just 950 mb but the seller told me it's 8 GB .. i pad show 5.99 GB free if that's true how i can use it ??

and 370 MB ram but he said it's 512 MB .. is that's right ??

Thats a bit odd....I have a 4GB card and 2.34GB available, so the operating system takes up ~1.6GB. Yours has 6GB in the second partition so the first partition can only be 2GB and you have nearly 1GB free????

anyway....

you have 950MB free in the first partition, but because you have an internal tf card that is bigger than 4GB the rest has been made into another partition. You have 6MB in the second partition. You can place apps in that partition using the Link2SD app
There is physically 512MB of DDR2 RAM soldered on the system board, but only 370MB of it is available to the operating system, the rest is reserved for the video sub-system (AFAIK) This is normal .

what about the update in the forum ?? .. I think my device is original since I have froyo and my charger that's come with the tablet 5 V not like the fake version 9 v
and i root my device like what describe in tutorial for flytouch 3 superpad 2 and it's have one TF solt not 2 !!

and one more question if stop working while am upgrade it for any reason is there any way to back it to life again ?

I thought you meant upgrade to Android 3, which you can't yet, but you can update the existing firmware. You need to know what model number you have and which screen resolution you have before you can update the firmware. Go to Menu/settings/about device. Look under Model Number.. what does it say?
Download Android System app Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! and run it, go to System\Screen and see if it reports 1024x600 or 1024x576

With this info you can find and download the latest firmware for your tab.

I tried the keyboard, select French language and English language.I can change the on-screen layout between English and French by swiping the space bar on-screen. However I have a USB keyboard as well and that remains an American keyboard irrespective of what you select in the menu settings.
I have un-selected the SwiftKey utility.

and is necessary to upgrade the device in sequence ..... I mean 4a then 4b then 4d or.... I can shift to 4e directly

and is there possible to make megavideo or other streaming site work ?? i mean the new update support it ?

You didn't say if the model number is DISCO??... If it is then...

You can just go straight to 4e.
Can't help on the streaming video....try a search!

Have you pushed the plug in far enough?

There is a simple mechanical switch on the socket which mutes the speaker when pushed far enough by the fat end of the plug. Simple but effective!

yes and ive tried multiple earphones it plays distorted sound out of the earphones at the same time as playing it out of the speaker. really annoying when trying to listen to music. any ideas? thanks

As Tbod says, the earphone socket has a mechanical switch that is operated by the earphone plug as it is inserted, if your tabs speakers are not disconnected when the plug is inserted then you have a faulty socket. The socket is directly soldered onto the main PCB, it is easy and cheap enough to find a replacement socket but if your soldering skills are not up to the task you would be better off seeking help or returning the tablet for replacement

hi there Ive installer the custom rom tim4e and better life is terrible. it drains in about 30mins. any fixes help much obliged.
