Flytouch pads are the updates clean?

Having jumped to 1568 rather than waiting for the official 1561 download time in days, and now finding an even later versions 1623 I do JUST wonder how these versions are being created and by who!
I am finding 1568 slow in starting and some apps just dropping out. The unit just switches off at times and can only be restarted after a reset switch push. The Text to speech that worked well on 1170 fails on 1568. The keyboard changes to a different type to the normal.
So the question, is 1561 available as a direct download? If not why not and WHO is making these other versions?
Any thoughts anyone?

The official WowPad internet linked firmware updates began with 1170. The only current "Official" update that I know about is 1561. I installed it and it only took a total of 15 minutes to complete. My SuperPAD works just fine. If you update anything else -- 1480, 1547, 1568, 1623 -- you as they say, "pays your money and takes your chances".
