Root Fm radio cm 10.1

Has anyone figured out how to get the FM radio to work?
I read CM added support for 10.1 ROMS.

Thanks Mobstergunz tried it didn't work, TuneIn is good but looking for an app that works like the stock one.

Some people have had luck with Spirt FM Radio

its a paid app and IMO and wallet killer but if you really want Fm Radio buy it or want to try the 15 Minute Refund it might work

....... I haven't tested so don't hold me to it

I'm going to try to figure out what's missing that made the FM radio to work on sense roms

Most likely its going to involve source code and if your not building from source be ready to decompile framework files and read java and smali

After searching a few weeks back (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296&page=480), it looks like Dec 20 removed from official support for the 3d. It will install fine but there's audio coming from the headphones nor the speaker.

xthedakmanx a while back on a thread (http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-all-things-root/686853-fm-radio-aokp.html) said he was working with the author to get it working for ours but I've seen no progress since then.

For what it's worth I added back in all settings for the Radio in Angry Bean's last version on the 4th. It does build the CM Radio.apk but does not work so I deleted it from the ROM.

If you want to make FM radio works in Cyanogenmod 10.1.

There are the rules :>

1) Before you turn on the FM radio, you need to use music player to play songs. (to have FM radio with sound)

2) You must turn on the bluetooth before you turn on the FM radio.

3) After you turn on the FM radio and "seeking & playing" the channel, you can turn off the bluetooth.

4) If you wanted to switch channel. you must enable bluetooth.

5) If you hadn't turned on the FM radio before you turn on the bluetooth. you needed to reboot the device to make radio works again.

SO The steps is :

Turn on the music player => Play songs => Turn on the bluetooth => Turn on the FM radio => Seeking channels & start playing

OR :
Turn on the bluetooth => Turn on the music player => Play songs => Turn on the FM radio => Seeking channels & start playing

Then you can turn of the music player or bluetooth if you want.
but if you wanted to switch channel you must enable bluetooth again.

If it don't work. reboot the device. and do it again.
