Help FM Radio Yes/No ?????

So does it, if not, can you add an app if it has the hardware?

Is there a general questions thread, I hate to keep making new threads to get answers to simple questions.

The Galaxy Tab Support and Troubleshooting sub-forum, where I've just placed your question, is where to post any query for help over all support of a non-rooted Galaxy Tab.

As to FM radio support on that device, yes, but not for recording. A search in Market under "fm radio" may yield apps addressing that and other radio issues.

I have a feeling Frisco is talking about something else, Tinderbox you mean listening to the radio right? The tab doesn't have this no. There are apps on the market that will give you digital radio stations tho, i think there is a galaxy one on there. But these will use the internet thus your data package, so just be aware of that.

I meant FM Radio , Not Internet Radio, :(

yeah but I think frisco is talking about the ability to send music over radio frequencies via the tab?

It doesnt play the radio like your car

I searched the market for fm radio apps but i could not find any, also i tried the radio app from my defy but i did not work, I wonder if the galaxy s phone has an radio app?

EDIT : I tried the galaxy s app and it`s not compatible.

The Fixit teardown of the tab, say it has an "Broadcom BCM4329 (Bluetooth/FM/WLAN receiver)"

EDIT2 : it looks like it`s been worked on, see link below.

My Xperia mini pro has built in FM radio support. But that could be proprietary.
Proves its not impossible. And it still runs on 2.1
