Help FM transmit to car radio

Does anybody know how to transmit music from the HTC Desire to the car radio using some FM channels?
I could do that with my old nokia N900, but does not seem to find the proper app for the Desire.

you need a physical 3.5mm Male mini jack to FM transmitter device.

Its the case on most phones. Im surprised nokia included this hardware in their phone as standard.

Bluetooth music streaming has superseded the technology as well.

That's correct you certainly need a 3.5mm Male mini jack. You may also see this radio installation kit. This might also work with your car.

Maybe its better to check first what features your car radio has - aux in? Bluetooth? SD slot? USB port? All these should transfer a better quality music to speakers than the FM transmitter. Also, the chance is high that FM transmitting audio will frequently get jammed by all kind of interferences.
