Help Folder to copy sounds into

I recently formatted my Captivate (and USB storage) since my SD card stopped working. It ended up being the SD card because I put another in and that one worked. Anyway, I have my own ring tones, notifications, etc but I can no longer find the folder to drop my sounds into so I can set them up again as defaults. Does anyone know where they are in Gingerbread or did I mess it up when I formatted the USB storage also?

I don't even have this folder. I only have folders:
/mnt/sdcard
and in this folder"
Android
DCIM
Lost.dir
external_sd

It will not let me navigate anywhere else.

Create a folder in mnt/sdcard call it media, then create one inside media and call it audio.

Doesn't work. I called AT&T, they couldn't help and advised me to contact Samsung. Per the Samsung Rep, I can only do a factory reset or send the phone directly to them to flash it. I am choosing the later option as the factory reset isn't doing anything.

jsteinmetz.......your making this more difficult than it really is.
A easy way:
1. Hook phone to computer (Enable mass storage, so you can see the contents of drive)
2. Go into main directory
3. Create folder in main directory (like you would on your PC)
4. Once you have created Media folder create Audio within this one....

There is no need to contact Samsung for this simple step. If you are still uncertain then google this and I am sure an answer will be found. As far as calling AT&T, they could not find their own A#s even if their hands were glued to them. I have learned NEVER to call these clowns for ANYTHING. I just research my own problems or ask for help from the kind folks here. When in doubt just research it, it is out there :)
Cheers
