Help Folders in gallery

Is there a way to move pictures from folder to folder within the gallery without mounting the phone? Also, can you password protect folders?
 
Use a file explorer on the phone like the pre-installed My Files app :thumbup:
Not sure about the password thing. Theres probably an app for it. U could use Smart Applock free version and lock gallery

I use KeepSafe as well. The only problem I've had happened this weekend. My husband woke up to find 1/4 of the screen covered with a colourful blob which made its way all the way across the screen keeping us from using the screen at all. I frantically tried to back up the phone using kies and tried my best to find the Keep Safe vault while the phone was connected to the PC using the file explorer...could not see it anywhere. I'm hoping that reformatting the phone worked to wipe it clean of everything in the vault because now it's in Best Buy's hands :(.

By default KeepSafe stores its data on the internal SD in the .keepsafe directory. It appears that KeepSafe merely appends the file name with a .hid2 extension after renaming it to a numeric file name. Unless the internal SD was wiped those files are likely still there but I wouldn't think a bench tech would have the time to poke through such stuff.
 
Thanks! I also stumbled across an app called QuickPic that seems really cool and easy to use, I was able to hide the folders I wanted and password protect them :naughty

QuickPic is great! Another thing I like about it is the ability to only include certain folders in the gallery and to specifically exclude others. I don't need to see all the album art and photos I have in my stored documents.
 
Yeah Quickpic is much better than the stock gallery. I like the Nexus4 gallery too. Thats what i use now :thumbup:
