Root font in UD2.5

flyer21

Lurker
I had a friend root me and after playing with the phone I changed the font in the UD settings. I don't like my choice and would prefer to return to the stock font. After selecting my choice it says I need to reboot and I do but the font won't change! I've tried several times and even tried to reboot to recovery as well.
Could anyone help?? I am stuck and am having a hell of a time...love root and all it has given me...just kinda frustrated.
Thanks everyone
Randy

Reflash the rom without a wipe and see if that works. I cannot guarantee that it will, but believe it will. It should restore the default font.

It will also restore the default kernel and clear all the edits that you have made to the framework (such as metamorph edits and themes). So, you may want to have those ready to reflash if you are using any other kernels or themes.

I'm the friend that rooted Flyer21's Droid.

Have you tried to switch to an entirely different Font from the Ultimate Settings menu?

Perhaps pulling the battery would work?

I guess if all else fails, Kratos has the best bet. Give me a ring and I can walk you through the Recovery/Flash process.

What's a nandroid? :p

All joking aside, a BACKUP before doing ANYTHING fancy to your Droid can be priceless, as teddyearp said. You can't make too many of them... but you can easily make too few.

And if you feel like you've made too many, well that's why it's so easy to mount your sdcard as storage to you computer. That's where you take and move alot of them to your pc just in case, which frees up space on your sdcard to make more!
