Help Font problem - changed but shown unchanged

Hi,

I have a question regarding font change. I have Samsung Galaxy S2 now running on Gingerbread. I change the font in my phone - it works fine, but fonts shown in Internet, many apps such as Facebook / twitter are still the original / default fonts.

For example I change my phone's font into one of Galaxy's own font: Choco Cooky. All the phone's system font are now changed into Choco Cooky but when I open twitter, facebook or internet, the fonts shown remain the same default phone font.

When I was running ICS, I could change font just fine, this happened right after I upgraded into Gingerbread. Are there others experiencing the same? I tried to google this problem, nothing show up. It's really annoying for me because I believe it's such a small problem, yet I dunno how to solve it.

Many thanks before

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Changed the font to Helvectica but the browser font and font in my facebook and twitter app for example have not changed. Before I upgraded the firmware to ICS I did not have this problem, the font changed on the entire phone.

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciaed.

Regards

Lisa

I don't think it's a problem per say... more a feature. Just like a PC default font can be set but each app can overide this and display their own?

Hi DaveSyd - thanks for the reply.

It is just that before I upgraded to ICS (which was yesterday via samsung Kies) the font changed in the browser and facebook and twitter apps... I'm scratching my head on this one! lol

I found the same problem on my Galaxy Note 2 & Galaxy S3 as well... I guess it's related to Touchwiz of Samsung as well... I really hope this issue can be solved...
Any help?
