Root Font

Trying to install a custom font for my theme and it won't install. I tried using Font Installer form the market but it does not wanna change it to the font I have on my SDcard. I wanna use the Resident Evil font for my red theme. I even tried taking out the font from the theme I made in the kitchen and it still will not work.

Does any one have any ideas what works?

I do not know but it is not changing it to the right font. I have it on my sdcard and the font chnager does see it but when it reboots its still the same font not the font I changed it to.

Go into settings and select which fonts it replaces

Try rom toolbox. Its worked for me.

I give up I have tried everything and still can not get the font I want installed this sucks. It just keeps using the same font I picked in the Kitchen when I made the theme. I even pulled the font out of the zip file and replaced it with my font and the theme installed the font I picked to use with theme. I should be able to change the font to any font I want but it just will not let me.

Are you rooted? Just use ROM toolbox like stated before

Yeah I am rooted it was the very first thing I did when I got my prevail a while back. I have tried all of the suggestions you guys have given me but none work.The phone still boots back up the same font picked over at the kitchen when I made the theme.

You have to change the names of the font files.

The font that you want for the clock should be renamed to "Clockopia"
The system font should be renamed to "DroidSans"
And the bold system font should be renamed to "DroidSans-Bold"

So this is what i think you want.

I just changed the names to what i think are the right ones.

PS. The bio-hazard font is extremely small...

Hmm, maybe since its such a complex looking font its files are too big, but I use consolas and its almost doubled the size of the system default font, I don't know what could be wrong bro, I hope someone will make it work for you, I'll look into it more when I get home

Thanks, this is really bugging me. I should be able to use any font I want shouldn't I?
