Root Font

Are there options that do a good job that do require root? I've found a few, ifont, hifont, etc. that require root but don't change nearly as much text as the stock font changing system. Seems to me the stock options are the best.

It's been a while since I've bothered with fonts but I think you can use jrummy's app without root, there's a thread somewhere around here talking about it, but I'm on my mobile so I'm not gonna try and find it.

After the first time I did the restore by download mode i have not been able to change the font on my phone. Not that i wanted to anywyas but just sayin.

Following the advice of this post...

I had where I loaded my phone and it wouldn't change the font I had to go into settings, security and hard reset it then it would let me change the font, maybe that's what you need to do.

I did a Factory data reset

(found under Menu > System settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset)

and afterwards was able to change the Font type!

The Factory data reset probably should be added to the steps as the final item - before the phone is finally ready to use.
