if you are experiencing bugs and problems with your apps on 2.2 it is more than likely that this is all due to the fact that your apps were written for android 2.1 and have not been updated to work optimally on 2.2...it's going to take some time for all the dev's to rework their codes for the apps to play nice with 2.2...
please keep this in mind instead of freaking out and saying the phone doesn't work...things will get better once the apps are updated.
