Root for phones without cwm or twrp installed

i dont know if anyone has heard of this but flash gordon is used to install zips without cwm recovery. only thing is you cant install roms with this which makes sense since the os is running. you can flash a kernel, a mod, gapps, a modem, a RIL etc. but kernel shouldnt be touched without the phone being unlocked. and it will interpret the updater-script of this package and install its content just like a recovery would. i can see this being used for just only tweaks for the systen due to a proper recovery not being on here. we can use this for other tweaks for these phones until a recovery can be found

I've been looking and researching into this. It looks good as an alternative recovery, but it is still in its beta stages still. But it can be used to flash tweaks and kernels but i wouldn't flash a kernel with this yet. It looks good and over time it can be better over time.
 
I tried this a while ago. This app crashed my rise. If I may make a suggestion, do not try this app until it comes out of beta unless you are willing to risk your device being damage.
 
It never will in my opinion y'all should just give up on these phones the lg OE is about the same except it has a dev community that's in full swing and it costs about the
 
I had to do a factory reset. Good try on attempting alternate methods but this app does not work with the Rise at all. It has a strong potential to cause a Kyocera Paper-weight.
