They displayed it on their website Micromax - Superfone that the a85 was getting a gingerbread upgrade and users have to wait a while but when i checked the website a few days earlier the text was removed. The website just said android 2.2
 
i would like to say we have to promote who supplies us 2.3 out of the box
or who regularly gives us updates or upgrades
and i suggest some new rays in this like this
why we need to beg for a update or request in hundreds we are paying for it so its there duty to give us updates ,,
so i wish ppl try to promote those who keep their words and give us quality stuff and not just add stunds.. and false promises and iyaan also i feel is cheating ppl a lot
saying 2.3 upgrade n other things...

Igyaan ppl were also beytayed by Micromax....as you can see in a75 review in the end bharat says " we would not comment if this phone would be getting ics upgrade because they promised us gb update for a70 to which they don't reply us anyway I am having a talk with them. "
 
Blacklist MMX is what i say. return the handsets in bulk and actively spread the word that they support actively support false marketing techniques.
 
i think we can go for an anti campaign
so that we will show in all forums against mmx
how they cheat by changing webpages first telling 2.3 update soon
and later removing it from website...
who will trust a company who wont stick to their words
who the hell knows may be we are getting high sar rated phones in cheap prices
and may b we are all paying our health n all for some little bugs
rise and vote against them force them to give us updates and all
may b online media can help say fb n all and make them realize, u cant
cheat every one with false marketing techniques
 
my intention was not an advertisement just to convey ppl that other venders are there in market who offers us pretty decent stuff with new version of android phones
i have heard ppl talking about a85 a75 and all and i hope its not also an advertisement
anyway i make my point clear
ppl are cheating giving false advertisement and
if the website holds true values they should warn ppl about this
coz cheating is not all a good thing in doing business
plz check the mmx website earlier they mentioned coming soon 2.3 update now they removed it
and thinking of an update ppl brought that handset for 20k and obove
i dont think one has to pay this much for a 2.2 based device one getter better things
below 20k

and to samrox
plz note my intention is that may mmx b forced to give us source .. and with out pressure it wont happen even they use facebook to cheat ppl thats too much
