Root For those having problems with Root!

many people are having issues with supersu not granting superuser rights. For what ever reason supersu doesn't play nice with the rise/hydro. An easy solution is to install an earlier version of this same method. I use v2 but any which pushes superuser should work. Here is a link to v2

My problem is that for some reason I'm not even unzipping the file right to my laptop because for some reason it either says can't find specified file or it says searching for device. Can someone show me how to unzip the file so I can get root. Step by startup would be nice. Gonna try V2 as well.

4-shared.eu asks me to download an ".exe" file instead of the .rar file. Not gonna do it,.

please use a different file sharing host.

If you uninstall supersu, and install superuser, programs can get root access. But it doesn't prompt to allow you to grant access. So any program can get root without you knowing, and superuser can't update binaries. Still an issue somewhere. You might as well not even have a root control app, which is not recommended.
