For those NOT on AT&T network, could you post your upload speed

For those unlocked Atrix user outside of US, could you post your upload speed . and state what kind of network you're connected to... LTE, HSUPA, UMTS etc.

*Not on AT&T

I'm on Fido in Canada and the max upload speeds I see is .34Mbps. Using an iPhone on the same network, I can get upload speeds of 1.5Mbps and hence I can confirm that the speeds seen on the Atrix are not due to the network

but you are using an AT&T phone, right ?

Well, that's mess up... I would suggest returning the phone (especially those pre-order and get rip off by AT&T on the price and extra tax). and

1) wait for a fixed version, perhaps with gingerbread...
2) even if you like the phone so much.. get a new one from costco and save $100.

yet another B S from AT&T

I just called their president's office today and was told that they did not know about the issue lol

haha yea it's a bugger that they limit the phone like that. Like another poster said somewhere, not a huuuge problem unless you're uploading photos/videos like crazy to facebook. If you are doing that, may as well just find a wifi spot and do it that way.

I'm using the AT&T phone in Canada on the Telus network (burlington ontario) and I'm also capped at 0.34mbps or whatever it is. Strange... usually Canada is the country that caps upload speeds to unnecessarily low levels (among other caps).

Upload speed is equally as important as download speed due to the fact that applications now a days require higher upload rates to deal with error checking in standard apps and required services for interactive applications. This is not an unreasonable request. All conversations, even data communications are two-way

Agree,

and for those who's going to stuck with Atrix for another year or two.. you never know how much apps would require REAL 4G upload speed in the coming 6 months (when all major vendors launch their duo core/4G device.. with iphone5 on the way as well)

It would be quite optimistic to wait for an upgrade from either AT&T or Moto..

 Cleaning up the data for return next week...

If the issue isn't fixed by the end of the 30 day, it is going back! I will wait and see.

Seriously? I've never owned a Canadian smartphone before but I didn't think we'd cap our upload speed considering we don't have 'unlimited data' like the carriers in the US have...had. I hope the Bell Atrix does not have a capped HSUPA.

The upload speeds are NOT being capped by the physical at&t network.

When I had my Captivate, I would get around 300 kbps upload. With a different modem, I would get around 1200 kbps upload. Same network, different phone software.

On Sasktel with my Htc Desire, I would get around 5 - 7 down with around 2 - 4 up, and I had unlimited data.

Well, just wait everyone till the iPhone 5 is released. I guarantee you that phone will have the hands down fastest connection EVER SEEN at AT&T.
On the day of release to retail!
Mark my words.
Of course I might be wrong.

The phone is capped. That is why no one is getting more then .35mbps upload. ATT has said it has disabled the hsupa+ and speeds will increase when they decide to enable it. What sucks the most and everyone is complaining about is that Iphones are not capped its only the android phones that are capped. A lot of people who have picked up the inspire flashed the phones radio (modem) with the one being used on the verizon version of the inspire the desire and as soon as they did that their uploads when from .30 to 1.3+mbps.
