For those of you who may be envious of the S4 - S3 upgrade news

honestly when i was using symbian there was nothing else available besides crapple. I loved symbian and nokia had quite a few nokia phones my first non nokia phone was the s2 when i got fed up of my Nokia N8 which was quite slow. honestly if nokia had not made the stupid mistake and joined with windows and they made android phones i would prefer to use a nokia to samsung.

I wasnt that impressed with the IR. Frankly, i wouldnt use it. Same way i feel about all of the eye gestures.

Cant agree more man. Im firstly a Sony fan i think but Nokia could make AMAZING android hardware.. its a shame :(
Yeah i had the N95 when 1st iPhone came out n it was so much better. It didnt have the crappy touch screen but it could RECORD VIDEO and connect to 3g unlike the iphone lol. Also had a cable to mirror the phone on TV in the box and built in stereo speakers. I loved that phone :)

Did the s4 get the rumoured eye or head controlled scrolling?
Id like that if it worked flawlessly but cant imagine it would

Well, it's looking like a great phone but not that should have S3 owners crying into their beer. All but the most impatient can wait for the S5, I think. Back on topic though, the only feature of the S4 I'd really like to delivered to the S3 is the one I suspect Samsung are least likely to deliver: Knox!

I collect my corporate email on my personal S3 and beloved employer has it locked down like two locked down things in a pod. Of course, in some ways this benefits me (when I'm not wearing my tinfoil hat) but still, I like the idea of Knox.

The eye scrolling and pausing is coming to the s3 it is already there on my s3 running 4.2.1 but it does not work it being a leaked Rom I can understand that.

I would like to see some of the features make it's way to the S3. But considering none of the carriers here in the U.S. have even rolled out the Premium Suite update, I don't know if we'll ever see any of those new features unless we root our phones.

Guess I'm just being cynical but there is always hope I suppose.

I think you are right. I don't think we will see any of those features here in the U.S.

I hope the radio is finally improved. As far as high res, I see no point on a small display. JMO.

Seems 6" or higher is the threshold to where people will notice. The chipset and battery take a toll for something that seems to not have much value.

The only thing I'm envious of is the silver lining around the phone. From what I hear it's alluminum and ours is plastic. Otherwise the phone is nearly identical except for some new gimmick features. Boring. The S3 is a fine phone and I must say that I don't even use the gimmick features of the S3 so I can't see using any of the new ones from the S4. Still very happy with my S3
