I'm just now figuring out that I can hav data & be on the phone @ the saame time as long as Wifi is on...

All this time I've had android phones & thatz been 1 of my bigger complaints not knowing I could do this:rolleyes:

But I'm glad to kno i can now :D

Just discovered this last night, good to know.
 
Yeah I did a few nights ago when on a Video call; my emails started coming thru but I didn't think much of it because I sorta thought that "I'm using Qik", but after that I made a call & during that more emails came thru, then jus to check, I went to the browser & Voila, I'm on the Android forum :D
 
used to do this all the time when I was on AT&T, it was actually one of my bigger concerns since I did a lot of talking and data at the same time. luckily at home I have wifi, and hoping 4g starts rolling out here soon to do it outside the home
 
I always got emails while on phone calls on my palm pre and now on my epic but internet wont work unless I am on wifi - thats because I think CDMA dont support that
 
Not sure if you are talking about connecting to a wifi or using the phone as a hot spot. I have found that even on 3G I can talk on the phone while my laptop is uploading a file thru the hot spot. Rather slow but it does work, when I am in 4G range it works beautifly.
