Yeah. And it doesn't work. I really like the app. I wish it would work.

If you give it a try, let me know what happens.

Well, lte offon, from market gives you the option to kick the phone to 1x/3g. But it's kinda tricky and dangerous...

I've already posted instructions on here on how to force CDMA/1X/3G. Search...it's an old thread I postd a week or so after the phone came out that no one seemed to have cared about (which is why I stopped wasting my time posting tips on this board)

And from what I have noticed on 3G, the battery savings are barely noticeable

The thing is going back 4g. You have to restart the phone ...don't you ?

Yup...the method I had found requires you to restart the phone to go in and out of 4G mode. But this guy sounds like he wants to turn 4G off the entire time and only use 3G so it doesn't seem like he would mind

Well in that case it'll benefiting for him..

Nope, I'm looking for a straight up toggle. lol

Well. As if now it doesn't exist...

although, metropcs is going to be using their LTE spectrum for data as well as voice, SMS, and such. I don't know if esteem its officially supportive but it should :)
