Root Force app to phone memory?

I apologise if this is a stupid question.
I am running cyanogenmod 7.1 on my desire, with a class 10 32GB SD card with 1GB ext3 partition. The phone can sometimes be a little sluggish but I can live with that. However, I have GO dialer Ex which I really prefer over the stock dialler, and I don

The Desire can only effectively use a class 10 card at the speed of a class 6. (just so you know)
I THINK internal is faster but since you've fooled your phone into thinking the sd is internal I really don't know if you can.
