Root force close after restoring backup

I backed up apps + data from DL30, then installed EB01. when i restore app+data i am getting force closes when i try to run dolphin browser.
in order to prevent issues, should i just restore the apps, and not the data?

I NEVER restore system data from one rom to another. Some will do it and get away with it. But you really *shouldnt* as not everything in the system set up is exactly the same (updated/changed apps usually).

Do want you want obviously, but if you restore system data and have issues...theres a good chance that was it.

apps + app data is fine (the option will be restore apps, then when you click it will ask if you want data too)...just not apps + system data

apps+data is what caused the force close. i'm hoping that just apps should work.

Don't forget to clear dalvik.
