Root Force close (android.process.acore)

I have been running Gb roms for a while now, never found the perfect one that allows me to use my droid as an everyday phone. I was very high on project elite but after the first week things bogged down and batt life sucked. I am traveling currently, and i decided to flash back to a trusty 2.2 rom and tried project elite 4.2 for the first time, now all i get is a constant android.process.acore message and i am not sure what is missing. Was looking for any help to relieve this or i will try and flash new roms i guess. thanks for any quick help i can get ahead of time.

clear cache, davilik, and eveything else... and restore manualy... im waiting it out as well with chevys ss 4.96 rom... 1.1ghz lo volt kern... its stable 4 me
