Root Force Close on 'People' application

Just resorted back to a nandroid backup that I knew worked. However I can not access my contact list now. Anytime I try and access 'people' I get a force close ' Sorry - The application People (process.com.android.htccontacts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try again.'

Anyone have a solution other than restoring or reflashing ?

is it frozen in titanium back up?

have you tried wiping cache and dalvik cache? usually if i run into some bugs like that i usually do a wipe and it seems to fix things most of the time.

I wiped cache dalvik and data for that matter. Re did it all. No it wasnt frozen.

I ended up just switching to the new kings 3 neon. Which so far Im liking alot.
