Help Force Stop Android Operating System

Okay, so I know, I'm a complete idiot. I force stopped my android operating system by mistake and now, as you might guess, my phone does not turn on, charge, or respond to anything. I tried doing a hard restart and I've searched forums trying to figure out what to do, but nothing helped. I'm not sure if my phone is still under warranty, as I've had it for a while. I figured I would take it into the store and see what they could do about it, but they do not open until 11 AM tomorrow morning(it's 9:17 in the evening as I write this). Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Huawei Vitria, and I was going through my apps and mistakenly tapped "Force Stop" on Android System, thinking it was something else, as of what I thought it was, I don't remember. I tried everything I found online and nothing worked, and when I tried to charge it, it got hot enough that I couldn't touch it.

It should restart on reboot but Google search how to boot your phone into "safe mode" and see if it will boot.
Can't help thinking you did something else though.... Maybe disabled it?
Good luck

I tried that, and it's not responding. I thought it might have been an old battery, then I remembered that this happened. My phone was at least 50% charged when it turned off

Think a factory reset from recovery is your only option then sorry it will wipe all your data and I don't know your phone so you'll have to Google it

Can you remember exactly what you did to it?
Maybe it is your battery. How old is the phone? Is the battery removable?

I don't remember why, but I was going through my apps to stop one of them and accidentally stopped the Android System. It was fine until a little while ago, about an hour or two maybe. If I can't solve it myself I guess I'll just go see what the store can do about it tomorrow.

I can't remember how old the phone is, I think almost 3 years. Yes, the battery is removable but I left it out for several minutes multiple times and it did nothing
