The problem with this technique is that it doesn't let you easily switch back and forth. I think most of us would prefer to stay on Sprint most of the time, and only force roam when we're in an area with a weak Sprint signal.
They probably disabled it once they got the bill from Verizon!I just wish Sprint would still have the option to "Roam Only" on all of their phones like they used to a few years back.

it depends on your plan. It would just use my available minutes in my plan.If you force your phone to roam will it have any effect on your bill?

I'm confused, what is the advantage of forced roaming. When I am roaming, the data speeds are incredibly slow, as in over a minute to load a page, even though it says '3G' in the top bar.
How can you tell if the phone is roaming.
