Forget the HTC ROM update - when can I get this?:

Presumably will HTC have to produce a HTC sense implementation of 1.6 before anyone will cook up a custom rom for the Hero?

Technically no ... Just up to the wizard that is doing HERO ROMS...

The G1 has our wonderous Cyanogen .... i dont follow the Hero builds ... even though some of its better parts have been incorporated into the Cyanogen Builds ...
