Forgot pattern of tablet

Just a thought. On your video you show trying to unlock the tablet with like a 'W' shape, while holding it in a horizontal position. And you're absolutely certain this was the pattern you set to lock it? Try holding the tablet in different orientations, including vertical, maybe it was in a different orientation when you set the lock, and the 'W' shape could be sideways, or even 'M' if it was upside down.

From the video it looks as if you deleted the wrong system folder was this rooted at one point . cause if the reset Dont work its because nothing is there for it to reboot into could have been lost from trying to root .

Give me a few I am still on the hunt for a unbrick or fix for it . I think a utility or tool box that will force the recovery IMG and software to the tablet . do u have a PC or laptop . and does this tablet have a USB slot on it

Well Houston we have a problem . yes a major road block . from your video I can't see what model tablet you got and showing to a friend he say the same so can I ask what model number is this tablet you got

How about the rear of your device

Can see the rear in the OP's video, besides the "Royal Tec X-pad" it's only got the usual FCC, CE, RoHS, WiFi, Recycle, Do Not Eat, Made In China on it. If it had an FCC approval number, might be able to find more info that way, but most devices like this don't. "Royal Tec" is very likely just a name that some trading company made up for this particular tablet.

yes it has usb slot and i have laptop!

See even plugging it into the USB on a laptop may not help, because it has to be unlocked before you can do anything with USB. That'll probably tell you just the chipset maker, which is very likely to be AllWinner or MediaTek.

Indeed "Houston we have a problem." ...well I'm visiting Shenzhen in June, could ask around, see if anyone knows anything, but that's about it I think from me...sorry.

I am sure there is a way to do a low level format of the device. get it back to zero. work your way back up.

but for a cheap ENEXPENSIVE tablet.. not sure it is worth the effort or cost to find such service. might cost $100 for repair shop to do this. if they have the kills and resources.

it might be best to spend time and money on a new tablet that is more supported.
look on Groupon.. they currently have a few specials running.

what I am saying is...time to give up on this.

Can I ask the op where did he get this tablet . from what these guys are telling me you need a SIMS card to enter the tablet . this is the reason it wont read the correct or incorrect code you enter . they said if you had a sims card it would be easy to enter the I forgotten my code to set up a new one . until you get a sims card you wont have access to the tablet . this will include resetting . . so as I said you may have rooted or did something cause the tablet wont allow you to reboot or factory reset . they say its a security for the tablet . now they gave me the OK for you to contact to get a sims replacement to get back into the tablet . if you have a sims inserted remove the sims and try to factory reset this tablet without the sims inserted. First power off the tablet and then remove the sims . when removed do the pin hole as the reset if Dont work do the button combo . if all fails and you Dont have a sims you can't use WiFi to get into the settings . you will need to contact them for a repair or your account info .

The name isn't the problem I need the model number if I had a model of can get the software

The tablet may not actually have a meaningful model number let alone finding software, because of how these things are frequently manufactured in Shenzhen, or nearby Dongguan.

The complete logic boards, touch screens, case parts, etc. often come from manufacturers that can be very anonymous, and only contactable by cellphone, email or QQ. And there's literally hundreds of them all advertising in a trade newspaper. The parts might be delivered by truck, handcart or tricycle to another place that does the assembly, which could even be a backroom in a shopping mall or in a shed somewhere. Then there's the trading companies that handle distribution, who are often private individuals operating from home offices or cheap hotel/brothel bedrooms.

BTW this is not how Samsung, Sony or Apple get their products manufactured in China, same for large Chinese makes as well, like ZTE or Huawei.

Post back if u need anything else

Here's the thing, the OP's "X-pad" is not necessarily a Simmtronics one. There's a whole load of tablets called "X-pad" listed on the Made-In-China and Alibaba B2B sites. Many of them do look very similar, and are nearly always from unknown manufacturers. The OP is in Pakistan, it's quite likely it could have been bought at any store or retail market

i bought in from UAE and I live in pakistan!
ANd it has no sim slot and unfortunately its wifi is off and usb debugging is also off so kindly suggest me something!
i think no one gonna help me...!

"It's dead, Jim!"

That's because no one can help, except the man in the R&D department who designed the thing...end of.
