Root Format SD card after Flashing CM7?

SOLVED

So, all the problems I was having with accessing the large partition on my SD card are solved.

The solution was pretty simple - somehow, I just had never understood that when I attached the NC to the computer, while running Android (not the Nook software off the ROM), I had to take the extra steps to enable USB mode.

Once I did that, the large partition was available from my laptop, through the USB connection.

I copied my first movie over there and... it doesn't play. Apparently not compatible with moboplay - but that's another thread, another day, another story.

Thanks to all here for their help.

That's one missing piece to the puzzle. I hadn't been doing that.

I have not formatted the 4th partition - I formatted the entire SD card when I started. I suspect that is the problem.

So you had to format the 4th partition before usb mode showed the drive?

For movies make sure hardware acceleration is turned off. Rock Player works for me.
