Root Formatting & partitioning SD card?

I used odin to redo the phone with fe16. I put CTMod back on. Then I looked at storage and it said I only have 117mb. Can I safely format and repartition the SD card at this state?

What were you running a data or ssm? Just backed up everything on your card to your computer. And yes you can reformat and repartition your card and it will not hurt anything in ct mod or root or anything like that.

I was following the CTMod for dummies and going with data. I went ahead and used CWM to format the SD card. Then I made a 4gb partition. It still says I only have 117mb of memory. Any ideas?

Try clicking on data only in the kouma mod in settings and then reboot your phone and see what that does don't touch the data on sd part

Did you go to settings/CT Mod/Kouma Kernal and select Data then reboot?

i've installed ctmod 3.68 and it works fine - calls, chrome and gps. however when i try to change the koumakernal settings to data (and i checked the disable internal data box) then save and reboot the phone hangs on the koumakernal screen seemingly forever. after 30 mins i removed the battery, replaced it and booted to cwm and flashed ctmod again. all good. then tried to change the setting again and it is hung up again at the kk screen. i did partition the sd card as in the step by step rooting for dummies thread. what am i doing wrong?

After selecting "Data" ( and the checkmark ), you need to boot into CWM recovery and FORMAT your sd-ext again ! After every switching in koumasettings, wipe and format sd-ext.

Hope that works for yah.....
