Help Formatting the SD card.

No, there should be no vital OS files on the SD card. However, any applications your have moved to your SD card you might want to back up, and any personal files like music, pictures, videos, etc. The "folder structure" should be automatically made by the Android OS on the SD card first time you start up your phone after inserting the SD card :)
