Forum App

Brand new to these forums. Is there a good application to access them, or is it best through a browser in the phone?

But the browser is better IMO.

I hate to say this, but I'd have to agree with you. The application is great for reading stories on Phandroid, although when you use it for the forums you will get an "error" message half of the time. So you'll end up having to use the browser anyways if you plan on viewing certain sections.

I like the app. Never had the error message yet.

Dunno about everyone else but I just noticed it's using 93mb of ram on my phone. This normal? I thought it seemed quite a bit.

Do Coby, Pandigital and other inexpensive tablets with Android 2.x have access to the Android Market to download apps? Any trick to get them to work with the market ? Thanks--I was going to buy one for my 8 yr old grandson to work w/ wi-fi. Any advice for buying these tablets (7 in screen) in the $100-150 range?

One feature the Phandroid app lacks is the ability to choose to see the forums or threads one has participated in, so it's easier to follow up on them.

Tapatalk, FTW. I tried a couple of times to use the Phandroid app, but I couldn't get past the bugs.
