He said his camera is 18 mp but the ZTE Warp Elite is 13mp.

no it literally came out of the package like that, my friend just got the same one and his works fine!
You may have been that 1/1500 of devices that wasn't perfect.. Can you exchange it?

I've checked every root possible, and there is nothing that supports the ZTE Warp Elite.
Ejohnt I just posted step by step instructions for rooting a ZTE Warp 4G phone at http://androidforums.com/threads/step-by-step-rooting-a-zte-warp-4g-for-newbees.971706/ I think the CWM recovery part will work on a ZTE Warp Elite. Then find the SuperU.zip for the ZTE Warp Elite. Again I am new at Android. My background is in Windows based PC'S.
If I stay with Boost Mobile. Were I live is 1 big sink hole for Boost Mobile, signal strength wise. I only have 1 bar sometimes 2 bars at home. Anyways If I stay with Boost Mobile my next phone won't be a ZTE anything. Boost Mobile has only 1 thing in their favor. A $40.00 flat monthly rate for unlimited voice, sms and internet anywere in the USA. The flip side of the coin with Boost Mobile is they need to put up a lot more cell towers.
