Help Forwarding blank emails from email app

I tried to forward an email from an IMAP account on my phone to another email. While the email does go through, the "quoted text" part is blank on the forwarded mail. Which means I am sending blank emails when I try to forward one.
 
For what it's worth, I tried forwarding from th emessage, from the inbox, and sending with and without additional text.

It looks like anythign in 'quoted text' aka the whole forwarded message, gets stripped at some point.
 
Hmm - on PC clients I usually see this behavior when the client is set to forward the entire thing as an attachment as opposed to inline....

Is there such an option here, otherwise, it is sadly no usefull info, nor a usefull email app :(
