Forwarding emails

Using the mail applications , whenever i forward an email it doesnt show the text on the forwarded email but adds it onto the email as an attachment

I just want to be ablt to forward emails to other people so it shows original email text, any advice?

It also doesnt allow email attachment to be forwarded properly, it just shows a shhortcut link.

the isues are with the mail app, currently have the gmail app switched off

you cannot edit forwarded emails at all. Not in mail nor gmail app.

this is rediculous.

the problem is i cant forward emails properly

i.e a colleague sends me an email with 2 pdfs attached and I want to forward email with attachments to some else, it doesnt add the pdfs (just shortcut links)
Ive tried downloading them etc but nothing seems to work

can anyone else forward attachment directly
