Help Forwarding Texts to PC

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to have text messages from the thunderbolt pop up on a PC monitor and then to reply to those texts from the computer?

There are apps in Market which address this.

Go into the text message app, press the menu key, select settings, then go down and check "show e-mail address" under Recipient List Settings. Then you can send text messages to e-mail addresses.
