how did you root your device

Thanks!
I just download it actually from the Market (Google Play Store) Virgin Mobile actually didn't block it only Sprint and At&t did!
Oh before I forget it works great and without root!!!

Need a second confirmation whether the Foxfi app actually provides Wifi tether. I have a Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy Reverb with an Android version 4.0.4. The app website said it does not support Jelly Bean, and the Google Play store said this device is not support.

Anyway, I tried to install the Foxfi app downloading the apk file directly from the website. I installed it on the phone and turn on the wifi hotspot. However, after I installed the app none my application were able to access/download anything off of the Internet. I eventually fix the problem by reverting back to factory settings and taking the battery for a while. It eventually allow the app access to the Internet, but I am not sure if it the battery or the reset to factory that fix the problem.

Does this support HTTPS sites like Google and Facebook? I've seen lots of these apps and they work, but if you want to be able to go to secured sites you have to pay money...

No root yet, it works on the stock rom.

Hey Tastycakes, you are able to check the Foxfi app working on the Samsung Galaxy Reverb? Can you let us know if you ran into any trouble with the app or was there anything special you had to do? I read a review for this app in Google Play, and I person mention he/she had to reboot the phone and take the battery out to get the app to work. Please let us know thanks alot.

I was able to get the Foxfi app to work from Samsung Galaxy Reverb after a second attempt. I installed the Foxfi app first this time instead of installing the Foxfi add-on app.

Thanks Tastycakess, had to use the Foxfi link but works just fine! Do you have any problem with youtube? maybe I need to reinstall it..
