Help Four Square check in issues

Not sure how many of you use this app or have this issue. My g/f and I started playing this the other day, it's kind of fun. We would try checking in to places before each other just messing around. Well at one point my phone said 'Sorry, your phone thinks you're too far from the location to recieve points.' My g/f has an EVO on Sprint and she checked in just fine. I tried it again later at a Wal Mart inside the store w/ the same results.

Later I went into the McDonalds parking lot and it worked. Well, again after that I had the same problem a couple times. My g/f can check in when she isn't even in the parking lot, or a quarter mile away etc.

Is this a possible pairing issue w/ the GPS I've been reading about? It's so annoying. The game went from fun to very frustrating. I am going to uninstall the app and dl it again and see what happens. Anyone?

It's not foursquare its the TB gps. Actually I heard its something to do with Verizon's network but who knows. Sometimes mine would say I'm in a totally different city. It's strange because its always the same wrong city. There's a leaked ROM that's supposed to fix the issue. I'm using a custom ROM that was built from that and it looks like its fixed. If that's not an option for you I would get GPS Status from the market and reset and download gps assistance data.

sometimes the app does that. it can say that if you are 10 meters away or 2 KM away sometimes. it doenst happen often though. just keep using it, it doesnt really mean anything anyway
