Root FP1 Root?

Does anyone know if we can root over the FP1 supposed OTA provided on INMUTS web page and if so, how? I like the look of it, and don't mind TW even that much, but need root primarily for wireless tether.

Can't boot into recovery with Rom Tools or Rom Manager, is there a different way?

I believe you power off the phone. Then hold down home and vol-up and then press and hold power.
