FPSE Sound issues and FFVII

Hello I have a GNexus and I have the FPSE emulator and I and playing FFVII but for some reason the sound is choppy and not smooth at all, I believe my GNex is more powerful than a PS1...anyone have tweaks to fix that or is it just the ROM period and can't be fixed?

Try PSX4Droid instead. I've been using it for years and have had no trouble with any games. Everything plays perfectly and flawlessly. I'm not sure why FPSE seems to be the go to, but PSX seems to be far superior.

Touche...I didn't realize that psx4droid was pulled from the market. There was a huge controversy awhile back when it was updated. It was an open source project, and the dev made an update which forced users to purchase it from the market. Could explain the issue.

I have no problem running it on any of my devices.

FPSe just has a buttload of features. I would rather pay for something that is actively developed than to have to search above and beyond for something that isn't. Not worth the hassle.

As for the sound issues, try enabling SPUSync in Audio settings.

If anyone wants it, here is the free (open source) version of psx4droid. I have no problem running it on any of my devices.
