Root Framework tutorial / htc black theme :d

this thing can be done in multiple ways but to be on a really safe safe safe side
I've used this method

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

1. Rooted X8 2.1
2. Xrecovery Installed
3. HTC BLACK THEME FRAMEWORK
4. 2shared - Latest.HTC.Black.Framework.rar (thanks to Blitz)
5. STOCK SE FRAMEWORK

HOW TO :

IMP : Place the framework you'll like to have in the root of your memory card

1. Reboot your phone
2. After SONY ERICSSON TEXT LOGO press BACK KEY a couple of times till you enter XRECOVERY MODE
3. connect your phone to pc
4. go to PARTITION TOOLS -> tap MOUNT SYSTEM and SDcard
   

   your screen should look like this
   

   

5. open cmd in your pc
6. type
   

   adb shell

7. now enter this code
   

   busybox cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk

8. now press back in your phone
9. and choose
10. REBOOT YOUR PHONE

after a couple of minutes your phone will start and you'll have this

dmn is there other name besides sdcard? mine stated no such file or directory when im entering the command above...

also, didnt work for me.. the theme still the same..

make sure your xrecovery screen looks like this

Btw,make sure to change your tutorial adding that both
DATA and SDCARD must be mounted!

what error do you get?

Nothing show error. Step by step i followed your guide. then when i reboot my phone as mentioned at last step, i didnt get the black theme.

Are you sure the framework file you are copying is the HTC theme??? Because if no errs occurs it should work or else the phone won't boot

i guess ur link to htc theme is not the correct file.. ive tried it b4 n it juz shows the default.. maybe u shud check it out..

Yes.I did already! Apparently there s a newer than your new HTC Black Theme from the XDA I posted earlier,which is the one that I used and made it work!
X8 Custom ROM - Page 37 - xda-developers
Or you can get it here (I uploaded this a few min ago):
