, I'll live with the ads. Actually, the Radio Shack banner accross the bottom isn't too bad. The square popups are larger than my display area on my netbook at home and those are a PITA
Until I have the coin to change my name to gold, I'll live with the ads.

So, you think the OP is not a Premium Member?
Tooshhhaaayyyy doood!![]()
LOL, I don't know what you green dudes see. I just thought I saw somewhere the gold folks saw less or no ads. And I'm kinda surprised that Phases is hinting that I shouldn't go premium. I still feel that I get more out of the forums than I put back, so I was planning on going gold.

It's those agencies and their high tech methods of shooting the ads into our screens; a battle between them, the Site Owner and the developers of popup blockers for our browsers. As I mentioned to you in the PM about moving your post to here, it's been an ongoing issue.
It wasn't me you PM'd or my post you moved. At least not that I know of. I think you may be confusing me with someone else. And like I said earlier, I still feel like I get more out of AF than I put in, so I do plan on changing my name to gold. The ads really don't bother me that much. I just thought I saw somewhere that there were fewer or none with paid, but that wasn't what was driving my decision to pay up.
BTW: I'm sorry to Phases if I misconstrued your post.

It used to say that, but they never made it work that way. So they took that part out of the premium/free comparison.
... at least I know I'm not nuts.

I'm happy ...

Probably not to be honest. It has been removed before, but always finds its way back - and it takes me quite a long campaign of complaining to get a push for its removal started.
