so im trying to register my new note, so I can get my free $25 google play card, but for some reason, I enter my serial number and mac address number, like it is requesting, typing it just as its printed on the box, and every time I hit submit, it tells me that they are both invalid numbers! wtf?! any ideas?
Thanks

I'm getting the same thing. Wth
You can always call Samsung (1-800-Samsung) (800-726-7864) and register that way.
It doesn't work that way. You have to use that link
I was able to register the tablet to my account via samsung, but not the Google play credit link :-(
They can help with that too. I'm speaking from experience.
i when i try to register, it tells me both serial # and mac address are invalid. also, it asks for model GT-N5100ZWBXAR ... i can not see the model code in the sticker outside of the box. from the device -> about phone, i only see model number = gt-n5100
so what am i missing here?? i can't seem to register
The serial # is on the back of the tablet and should start with S/N.
I noticed you mentioned you have a GT-N5100. That sounds like the international version, not the wifi only version. The "free gift" is a US promotion, so I don't know if it applies to the international version, which would make sense that you aren't able to register.
Only reason I know you can't register an international version on the Samsung US site is because I wasn't able to register my International Note 2.
i did not know the free gift only applies to US model and NOT all samsung note 8. that is not fair because a samsung device is a samsung device in my mind.
that explains samsung site keeps telling me invalid serial# and mac address
i wonder if i can get the $25 google credit somehow
ScandaLeX, did you keep your Note 8 or did you bring it back?
