Free GPS App?

[gdiddy]

Is there a GPS app that gives driving directions from one address to another?
Thank you.

Google Maps works nicely for myself. It features turn by turn navigation to and from destinations.

Mapquest, Google Maps, Yellow Pages there are tons.

Do any of these GPS Apps lets you hear audio as it navigates driving directions?
I'd like to be able to hear "turn left" instead of read "turn left"
Is that possible with these apps?

Google maps should most likely already on your phone. It works great and tells you typically the exit number, road name what direction to turn. It is just like a separate GPS unit. It is the great thing about these phones, they serve as multiple devices.

Nav free will let you store the maps offline in case you lose signal

So does Google maps.

I think with Google maps you have to download areas for offline use in advance. Nav free downloads your country

Not only that, but with Google Maps you have to do you Nav preparation on-line. You can download map tiles (not available in the latest version though,) but to navigate from one destination to another you have to do it on-line.
