Free Wifi Hack Without Root

Yeah they are not setup like the old way anymore and I think it has to do with 4G.

They are now @vzims.com for the NAI and DUN NAI is blank.

Guess since full blown root has happend, we shall find out if there will be any charges with Wifi Teather they way it is setup now.

I had thought about changing it to the @vzw3g.com since I am in a 3G only market anyhow. But from what people are saying the DUN NAI is not editable.
 
Have considered upgrading to the T-bolt...Saw that the Free WiFi hotspot was to run thru 5/15...has it ended?

If it has ended, has anybody tried the Free Wifi Hack w/out Root trick?

The hack doesnt work on tbolt. That area is not abe to be edited..
 
Got my "extended until June 15th" text today from VZW which is nice as we go on vacation at the end of May and naturally the "nice" hotel we are staying in doesn't offer free internet. At least this way I will be having 4G speeds to browse with! Sticking it to tha man! haha
 
Those settings are now on the SIM card and not on the phone. Next step is to figure out how to edit the SIM card; on the phone, through a reader or otherwise.

Has anyone else here had experience with this app? Does it in fact allow for un-rooted users to get free teathering? Thanks for the input! :)

EDIT: I do plan on rotting once my phone comes in today, no worries! This is just going to be temporary or to help other non-rooted users save $30 if it doesn't work ;)
