Freeze Android Version (Disable Updates)

I have factory-default, "stock" Verizon Galaxy S3 phones and do not wish to root them.

I need to assure that my Android OS is never updated (I run a specially written piece of software that has problems with updated OS versions).

I am hoping that there is an App that can control this? Any insights on that?

If not, I am open to other suggestions. Any thoughts?

In Play, turn off automatic updates, so you'll be asked when an update comes out.

After the 500th time of saying "no", you'll be glad to root the phone and freeze the updater. (Then you cn unroot it and the updater still won't run.)
