Help Freezing

Having problems with my mini s4 it keeps freezing on lock screen have left for 5 mins and nothing happens... and have to take battery out...

HELP
 
I am going to move this thread to the Galaxy S4 Mini forum since this is for the Galaxy S4.

I would perform a battery pull to restart the device. And like icedtea asked, how frequent is this occurring?
