Root Fresh 2.1 for samsung moment?

I have fresh 2.1.2 on my hero and i love it and i want to get it on my girl's samsung moment with launcherpro. Any rom like this as well as a rooting video? Thanks for any help.

The Hero has different ROMs than the Moment. For the Moment I would suggest going to sdx-developers.com and looking there. The ROMs most people use are joeykrim's custom ROM builder and Calkulin's.

Which do you recommend? I cant find any think on Joeykrim, and Calkilin's seems simple and no root needed I believe?

Try this. [Kitchen] Online ROM Builder - Android DE03 - ONLINE but moving soon

Step one is to install one of the SDX recoveries (I uses Joey's 2.1.3).

Or you can try the lightning rom as well. (I'm using lightning 2.2)

He's now on 2.8 and will release 3.0 soon I think. I may wait until 3.0 since I want a fresh start. But this rom looks like Android 2.2 Froyo!

For others reference,

I rooted the phone with this video Root walk-through
(Make sure your either running windows vista or xp service pack 1 or 2 and not 3! If your are running service pack 3, it wont work for some odd reason.)

I loaded up Ultimate Dream 3.0 (ROM) and absolutely love it. Really recommend it! After root, just follow the steps on this link.

BTW Thanks to all on this thread for all your help on my Root and Rom.

The ROM comes Rooted already!
