Root Fresh 4.3.2 no wireless N

Lurker
So I know the supposed issue is that gingerbread removed wireless N capabilities from the Evo. I know there is a wireless N fix out there for 4.2 with the older software number. But the latest I saw the wireless N fix for was the evo software version 4.53. I flashed that and nothing (I did do driver only though don't know if I needed to choose a different file). Wifi works fine if my router in on mixed mode. But that seriously slows down my home network which I can't do since I stream HD video from a home server to pc's which are connected to every T.V. in my home.

Anyway anyone know if there is an N fix for software version 4.54.651.1 ? I live in an area where there is no 4g coverage. I hate being limited to 3g because I just can't leave my home network on mixed mode.

have you tried a custom kernel? it might help. try the aggressive freedom kernel. it has the Wireless 802.11n support. should help you. also i would try mikg instead of fresh. it is more supported and runs really well.
